Material specifications
Aluminium Foil for stripping
- 100μ conformable aluminium foil. - Produced from a 99% aluminium alloy. - Excellent properties - Resistant to moisture vapour transmission. - Thickness / Calliper 100μ. - Tensile strength (range) MPa * (depending on thickness) 55-550 Mpa.
Protex 10V for Painting
- 10mil latex saturated paper. - External vinyl surface: resistantance to abrasion.
Adhesive specifications
Aluminium Foil for stripping
- Anionic dispersion of acrylic in water. - Very high shear resistance. - High ultimate peel adhesion. - Adequate tack. - Rate of bond development allows repositioning for some time after contact on most substrates. - Normal upper service temperature is 100°C. - Lower application temperature is 5°C. - Adhesion can be maintained down to > -5°C.
Protex 10V for Painting
- Pressure sensitive adhesive. - Good holding strength. - No residue after use. - Base: natural latex. - Adhesion to steel, oz./in. width (at time of manufacture) PSTC-1 (modified):30 – 40 (-5/+7).

Aluminium tapes
Our best-selling aluminium foil tapes are custom manufactured using 100μ conformable aluminium foil made from a 99% aluminium alloy, providing outstanding flexibility & durability. The adhesive is an anionic dispersion of acrylic in water, offering adequate tack to allow easy repositioning during installation for accurate application. The tape is supplied with a premium 87gsm white clay-coated kraft release liner, silicone coated on one side with a solvent-free finish.
Available in 50 m rolls in widths of 12, 25, 50, 150, 500, and 1,000 mm, or custom cut to your required shape and size for window blanks.
