Aircraft Livery Painting, let’s see how Etihad promoted The Fast & The Furious 7

We love nothing more than seeing some of the amazing and creative new liveries that airlines produce every year. And, we love getting involved with new projects large or small around the world.

http://www.airliners.net/ is a great place to see some of the latest and greatest livery work from hundreds of airlines worldwide.

As you can probably imagine painting an aircraft is a massive operation that can come at a huge cost and in many cases, if the aircraft is on wet-lease that means they have to return the aircraft in the original livery which also means painting twice!

We wonder how many airlines steer away from being more creative simply because of the reasons above?

Aircraft Livery Painting doesn’t have to be expensive, in fact, you don’t have to paint at all…

…In most cases, aircraft livery can be completed using only aircraft approved vinyl such as 3M Aircraft Film, the technology used means that the vinyl can be applied to cover the existing livery and removed fairly easily without any damage or need to paint.

It also means that as an airline you can get super creative with your designs.

Obviously, there are certain guidelines and restrictions to the placement of vinyl set out by aircraft manufactures but generally we can perform up to 80% total aircraft wrap coverage.

Here’s a really interesting article which shows one of our promotional Etihad wraps to promote the Fast & Furious 7

Temporary promotional wraps like this one can be installed in a short space of time and removed by our professional team saving thousands on paintwork.

It’s great to see airlines being bold with their liveries and we truly hope to be involved with as many as possible in the future.
